We are committed to making a positive difference to the communities in which we work, through creating inspiring and sustainable places using innovative solutions.
Our teams work closely with our dedicated sustainability team to minimize the environmental impact in both our projects and how we operate as a business.
We recognise the importance of fostering an inclusive environment that encourages and promotes diversity of thought. We aim to work collaboratively with colleagues, our clients, industry professionals and professional networks to raise the profile of diversity and inclusivity within the industry. As part of our commitment to strengthening diversity through strong partnerships, we are longtime supporters and sponsors of WISH (Women in Social Housing) and have recently become members of Inclusive Employers and the BPIC Network (Black People in Construction).
We have published our 2020 Gender Pay Gap report which can be found here.
We strongly believe that breaking the stigma surrounding mental health is crucial to enabling a safe and healthy workplace environment where everyone feels comfortable to be themselves.
We have signed up to the Health Assured Employee Assistance Programme, which provides all employees with access to a confidential 24-hour counselling hotline. We also offer Mental Health First Aid training and have a team of in-house MHFA Champions.
We are dedicated to offering the best training and support, together with real opportunities to develop and grow. We provide a range of training from our programme of in-house CPD seminars, delivered by industry leaders.
Our aim is to provide everyone with the tools to realise their full potential from support for RICS APC (Assessment of Professional Competence) right through to sponsorship to study for a PhD.
Our focus is on quality and sustainability, both in the industry and how we operate. We ensure that all operational decisions are led by environmental factors, which supports our drive towards a carbon neutral business. Our multi-disciplinary approach, including a dedicated in-house sustainability team, enables us to prioritise sustainability and quality on all our projects and advise clients on the best approach.
We have joined Business Declares to commit to authentic climate action. We are working to achieve PAS2060 carbon neutrality.
Our London office uses a Carbon neutral electricity tariff. Each office has a sustainability champion.
Our dedicated in-house sustainability team, consisting of; Sustainability Advisors, Passive House Consultants, BREEAM Assessors, BREEAM Advisory Professionals, Fitwel Ambassadors, Low Carbon Energy Assessors, SBEM Assessors & SAP Assessors, Overheating Assessors and
LCA Assessors, work closely with delivery teams to promote environmental sustainability.
Through partnership and sharing knowledge, we can ensure that the industry is in the best position to drive positive change. Our dedication to collaboration extends beyond our work with clients on projects, through to informative thought leadership pieces and CPD Seminars. We are also members of various important professional and networking groups.
Giving back is a big part of our culture. We are actively involved with the charities, communities and environmental causes in our areas of operation and we are proud of our achievements.
