Jeremy is a Chartered Building Surveyor with over twenty years’ PQE and is an Associate Member of The Institute of Fire Engineers and a Member of The Institute of Fire Safety Managers. He has also completed the ASFP course in Passive Fire Protection and holds the ABBE Level 6 Award in External Wall System Assessment.

Our dedicated team of surveyors is professionally qualified in the fire safety sector, and has undergone third party training to ensure they are experts in fire safety and passive fire protection. Clients are provided with an enhanced level of design interrogation to verify continuity of the Fire Strategy Golden Thread and an intricate technical inspection service with respect to fire safety to provide the independent assurance that stakeholders desire.

Our Fire Consultancy services range from desktop documentation review to full intrusive investigation both internally and externally. We specialise in a number of areas within the sector, ranging from PAS 9980 FRAEW, Passive Fire Protection and Fire Door Inspections to Pre-Acquisition Due Diligence and Fire Guardian/Inspection Monitoring services. This allows us to provide our clients with the independent assurance they require.

Tim Jackson BSc (Hons) MRICS AIFireE MIFSM, the Head of Site Inspection at calfordseaden, works closely with our Fire Consultancy team. Tim is an advocate for passive fire protection in the industry and was recently granted full Membership grade to The Institute of Fire Safety Managers.

Our team demonstrate a commitment for improved passive fire protection in the industry, through collaborating with industry organisations and regularly participating in panel discussions and presentations to provide insight and encourage positive change within the sector. Most recently, Tim presented on ‘an integrated approach to effective fire protection’ at the Fire Safety and Evacuation Seminar.
