Becka’s Technician Panel Discussion

Last week, Becka Balch featured on a panel discussion at the Technician Event held at MidKent College!

Becka joined three fellow engineers on the panel to discuss her role as a Revit Technician at calfordseaden, her journey throughout education (including passing her Institution of Civil Engineers End Point Assessment last year), and more to a variety of people from the sector at all different levels and students.

“A few years ago, I attended an event like this as a student. I couldn’t have even imagined that a few years later I would be the one speaking. One thing I am passionate about is showing young women that these roles are available in the construction industry and that a great way to get into these roles is through apprenticeships. It’s an excellent way to learn on the job as well as getting an education whilst getting paid. And it doesn’t matter at what stage in life you start this!”
