calfordseaden at Careers Fairs

Laura Chester, Senior Project Manager, and Nicola Butler, Organisational Development Business Partner, recently attended the Rochester Grammar School careers fair.

Laura and Nicola spoke to Year 10 and 12 students about the skills and qualifications needed for the various roles in the industry, including the wide range of opportunities available at calfordseaden. It was also a great opportunity to provide some knowledge and insight on apprenticeships, focusing on how they work and how they are a great alternative to a traditional university course.

As part of our ongoing commitment to inspiring the next generation of construction professionals, we have also attended other careers fairs in the past few weeks. Roman Halliday, a member of our 2024 Apprenticeship Cohort, visited Beths Grammar’s Careers Fair, which was attended by over 700 students from Years 9-12, to discuss his experiences as an apprentice. Kyle Helleur, Building Surveying Partner, and Nicola Butler also exhibited at St Thomas More’s Post-18 Day, where they provided useful information on apprenticeships and the different career pathways available in construction.
