Calford Seaden (Health & Safety) Ltd. is pleased to announce that Chris Edwards has been appointed as our new Head of Health & Safety.
Chris has worked in the health and safety arena and construction industry since his career began with the Health and Safety Executive back in 2001. He had worked across many sectors for a variety of clients both in the UK and abroad, and over time he has gained extensive knowledge of Construction Design Management (CDM), construction site activities and wider health and safety services.
Chris is passionate about changing the perception of CDM and health and safety within the construction industry. The breadth of Chris’s experience, both in the consultancy field and as part of legislative bodies, gives us the greatest confidence that his team will continue to provide services of top quality and value.
“I am delighted to accept this opportunity to join Calford Seaden Health & Safety and to build on the great work that both colleagues and predecessors have carried out for our clients over the years. During that time, there have been big improvements in reducing the number and rate of injuries to construction workers and this demonstrates real progress. However, a number of serious ill-health issues continue to affect construction workers, and our focus will be on adding value and delivering services to ensure that modern methods are embraced, that health and safety remains at the top of the agenda, and that improvements continue to be made,” says Chris.
