CIBSE Technical Symposium: calfordseaden Research Paper

CIBSE Technical Symposium: calfordseaden Research Paper

calfordseaden will be presenting a research paper for the annual Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) Technical Symposium in April 2022 at Southbank University, London.

This highly prestigious academic and technical symposium is held every year around the UK to promote research into the challenges of building design, construction and post occupancy studies. The theme will be ‘Delivering a Safe, Healthy and Sustainable Built Environment.’

We are excited to share that our peer reviewed research paper, which considers large scale Passive House Construction and Overheating in Buildings, has been accepted and we have been given the opportunity to present the paper at the symposium.

The paper has been researched and compiled by an expert team across calfordseaden, led by Partner and Head of M&E and sustainability teams, Dr Terry Keech, alongside Senior M&E team members: Emily Mansfield; Karen Ayms; Jacqui Clarke; and Yiannis Papanikolaou. The research work has been carried out by some of our outstanding rising Graduate and Junior Engineers including Gagan Sandhu, Molly Dillon and Saleh Abiyati (as pictured), and forms part of our ongoing research and development ideas and activities towards zero carbon living and the Future Homes Standards scheduled for 2025.

We all look forward to a great reception at the Symposium and will keep you updated on our zero carbon activities throughout the year.
