Kingsland Road Receives Gateway 2 Approval in Record Time

We provided MEP Engineering, Sustainability design, CDM Principal Designer, and Third Party CFD Review services for Kingsland Road, which has recently had its Gateway 2 submission accepted in just 13 weeks!

The services design for this building provided some complex challenges owing to the combination of commercial and residential uses, multiple basement levels, and high-density occupation. The scheme is designed to be fossil fuel free, exceed the stringent GLA low carbon and water use targets, and deliver a high-quality specification and environment that is synonymous with the Morro brand.

Our approach to the Gateway 2 submission was to put the Building Safety Regulator at the forefront of submission, to submit clear and concise evidence in a logical format that would facilitate their review.

We are very proud that our MEP Gateway 2 submission received only very minor comments and assisted the overall project team in achieving approval in record time. Congratulations to everyone involved!
