1. 90% of apprentices stay in employment after completing their qualifications, in which 60% continue to work for the same employer.

2. Since 2010, over five million people have started an apprenticeship in the UK.

3. Apprenticeships are for people of any age, not just school leavers or young people, as they provide a direct route into an industry.

4. Women in construction only make up 10% of new apprentices each year, highlighting the need to encourage more women in the industry!

5. Apprentices earn industry recognised qualifications, from Level 3 to Level 6 apprenticeships, giving them the same recognition as university graduates.
