Nick Owens’ Career Switch – NAW 2026

Happy National Apprenticeship Week! This week, we’ll be sharing with you a range of content to highlight the positive impact that apprenticeships make to individuals and businesses.

We’re proud to currently have 13 people learning, developing, and working towards their respective degrees, with a further two members of our team due to begin their courses in March. One of them is our Assistant Project Manager, Nick Owens, who will be studying a MSc in Construction Management at the University of the Built Environment.

With today’s theme being ‘Skills for Life’, we spoke with Nick to learn more about his career switch, his role and responsibilities, and how this qualification will help shape his career. This video is a great reminder that you don’t have to be fresh out of school to start a new career path or return to the classroom!
