Peabody Charity Dragon Boat Race

calfordseaden’s Patrick Everitt, Ben Barlow, Jack Diggle, and Luke Taylor participated in Peabody’s Charity Dragon Boat Race! Along with colleagues from Thomas Sinden, Peabody, and Interior Partnerships, they teamed up to become the St Olaves Dragons and competed in the race at Surrey Quays!

The event supported the Peabody Community Foundation, raising over £58,000! These funds will play a crucial role in Peabody’s ongoing efforts to tackle food insecurity within our communities.

The day featured a series of qualifying races on a 200m course, a Grand Final race, and a BBQ with bankside entertainment offering views of the iconic Canary Wharf skyline. Although we did not win, we proudly took home the award for the wettest team, as our boat managed to capsize!
