Three awards for calfordseaden projects at the Considerate Constructors Awards

A successful evening for calfordseaden at Thursday night’s Considerate Constructors Schemes National Site Awards 2016, with three of our projects picking up awards.

Our award-winners were:

  • York Road, Gold Considerate Constructors Award
  • Elizabeth House, Bronze Considerate Constructors Award
  • Braishfield, Bronze Considerate Constructors Award

York Road

The York Road project was self-built by ex-servicemen and women, many of whom were previously homeless. The scheme compromises of 10 units, two of which are equipped for disabled residents. The judges noted that “while maintaining exemplary standards across all considerate areas, the sheer energy, imagination and commitment of this site team marked them out as truly considerate ambassadors leaving a very positive legacy on behalf of the industry.”

Elizabeth House and Braishfield

Elizabeth House and Braishfield took home Bronze and the judges were complimentary of the projects, noting that both sites had “shown the highest levels of consideration towards the public, its workforce and the environment.”
