Welcoming 16 Work Experience Students

This summer, we welcomed 16 Year 10 and 12 students for work experience across our Kent, London, Southend, and Cambridge offices.

The students, made up of six girls and 10 boys, secured their placements through a variety of routes – some connected with us at careers fairs, others approached us after researching the company, while some were referred by partner organisations and clients.

The students gained experience across a range of disciplines including Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Project Management, Architecture, Marketing, Finance, Facilities, and Project Support.

As part of her placement, Holly (pictured) gained valuable on-site experience by visiting the following projects:

• London Borough of Hackney’s Colville Estate, a landmark mixed-use regeneration project.
• Tovil at Farleigh Hill, Kent, where Legal & General Affordable Homes is progressing the purchase of approximately 136 new-build homes from Vistry.
• Sovereign Network Group’s Plot 15b at Brent Cross Town, comprising 50 affordable housing apartments.

We would like to thank all 16 students for their hard work, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn during their time with us. It was fantastic to see their confidence grow throughout their placements and how quickly they adapted to a professional environment.
