Welcoming Ben Pollard

We are delighted to welcome Ben Pollard to calfordseaden as a Health and Safety Consultant! Ben will play a key role in supporting the continued success and growth of our Health and Safety services.

Personal Life and Professional Background

Before transitioning into the Health and Safety sector in 2017, Ben owned a dry cleaning business. He is a Freeman of The Worshipful Company of Constructors, a modern City of London Livery Company for professionals in the construction industry.

Originally from Bromley, Ben is a Crystal Palace fan and enjoys playing football, fishing, and spending time with his four-year old son.

Health and Safety Experience

Ben began his Health and Safety career with a Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Contractor within a housing association, where he worked for three years and completed his NCRQ Level 6 Diploma in Applied Health and Safety. He then spent a year at Skanska Building Services, specialising in healthcare projects, before moving into consultancy in 2022, where he transitioned into the role of Head of Business Development.

Ben has experience across multiple sectors, including healthcare and commercial projects, and will provide services for several residential and mixed-use developments in the near future.

Role and Ambitions at calfordseaden

As a Health and Safety Consultant, Ben’s responsibilities will include carrying out CDM site inspections, Principal Designer duties, compiling monthly compliance reports, and attending networking events. He aims to contribute to the growth of our services and continue his professional development.
