Welcoming Our 2026 Apprenticeship Cohort

Welcoming Our 2026 Apprenticeship Cohort

We are excited to introduce our 2026 apprenticeship cohort! Meet our five new arrivals:

  • Sam Green – Apprentice Digital Engineer
  • Laurel Tesfaye Hoyte – Apprentice Project Support Administrator
  • Hannah Pocock – Apprentice Quantity Surveyor
  • Jaiden Govind – Apprentice Project Manager
  • Emelia Davenport – Apprentice Building Surveyor

“I’m delighted to welcome Sam, Laurel, Hannah, Jaiden, and Emelia to calfordseaden. It was great to meet our new apprentices this week, which is always one of my favourite moments of the year. Welcoming the group also gave me the opportunity to talk about our approach to AI and the role we see it playing in supporting the next generation of professionals entering our industry.

Our considered use of AI is not about eliminating jobs. It is about changing how work is done so we can enhance productivity, maintain quality, support knowledge development, and reinvest time in the training and development of young people and new entrants to the industry.

The mentoring, development of the apprenticeship programme, and ongoing support provided by our L&D team play a huge role in the success of the programme and in helping build future careers.

Bringing so many people together earlier this week, alongside our company-wide Summer Event on Friday, gives our new apprentices a valuable opportunity to meet colleagues from across the Practice and be properly welcomed into the calfordseaden family.” – Michael Anderson, Partner.

“Interest in our Apprenticeship Programme continues to grow year on year and I’ve been really impressed with the quality of applications this year. I can’t wait to see what the class of 2026 achieve during their time here at calfordseaden.” – Nicola Butler, Organisational Development Business Partner.

It was great to welcome them to our head office on Monday, where they had the opportunity to begin settling in and meet their new colleagues over a welcome lunch.

We’re excited to have Sam, Laurel, Hannah, Jaiden, and Emelia on board, and we can’t wait to see the impact they make and how they develop during their time here!
