calfordseaden provided Employer’s Agent, Clerk of Works, and Principal Designer services for Clarion and Countryside Housing Group at Castle Hill, Kent. Castle Hill is part of the Garden City Development, which comprises 650 new homes.
Our involvement on the scheme covered Parcels A-K, where we provided multi-disciplinary services on a total of 425 new homes. A detailed breakdown of the project is as follows:
Parcels A to D
- Section One: Plots 1-21 Site A: 21 houses (15 shared ownership and 6 affordable rent)
- Section Two: Plots 22-69 Blocks B1 and B2 – Site B: 48 apartments (29 shared ownership and 19 affordable rent)
- Section Three: Plot numbers 70-125 – Sites C and D: 56 units (17 affordable rent apartments, 10 affordable rent houses and 29 shared ownership houses)
Parcels E and F
- Section One: 29 mixed tenure units
- Section Two: 13 mixed tenure units
Parcels I and L
- 95 apartments and houses in total for mixed tenure including shared ownership.
Parcels G, H, J and K
- These Parcels comprised of 163 apartments and houses in total, available for both rent and shared ownership.
