calfordseaden was appointed to provide Principal Designer Advisor services to Fifty Paddington, an exceptional mixed-use commercial building situated at the heart of Paddington.

The scheme comprised of the demolition of existing buildings that make up 50 Eastbourne Terrace including the office tower, and the construction of a new 8 storey office block, with retail to ground floor, and a mews of 4 storey townhouses to the rear. Associated landscaping and plant relocation for 40 Eastbourne Terrace also form part of the works.

The main challenge for this scheme was that it was located very close to the District Line Tunnels with a major railway station opposite including the new Crossrail station at Paddington.
