calfordseaden was appointed by Lewisham Homes to provide CDM Principal Designer, Employer’s Agent, and MEP Design services for the construction of a seven-storey block comprising 32 high-quality temporary and specialist housing apartments.

The existing warehouse was demolished to provide 26 family-sized temporary accommodation apartments, interview rooms, and six separate supported living apartments for residents with specific needs, such as learning difficulties. The NHS supported this scheme which aims to work towards transforming the care programme and provide residents with a comfortable environment to live more independent lives.

calfordseaden collaborated closely with various health professionals throughout the duration of the project to ensure these apartments were suitable for a range of future residents as well as implementing the use of PV Panels to generate sustainable electricity for the apartments.
