Sovereign Network Group and Countryside Homes have created a Joint Venture to create the Northwick Park project, a residential led mixed-use development that will deliver up to 1,600 residential homes, student facilities including student accommodation, teaching facilities, sports facilities, retail, and commercial space. In addition, the project will also provide a replacement nursery, an energy centre, landscaping, associated highway improvements, and infrastructure works.

During the development of a combined planning application, calfordseaden was appointed to provide Health and Safety Consultancy, Project Management, Employer’s Agent, and Quantity Surveyor services. Our role included the development of the project master programme for the planning submissions and subsequent procurement phases, and management of the design and client team meetings working with the various stakeholders. As Cost Consultant, we provided pro-active feedback on the cost implications of the design options and identifying areas of excessive cost, whilst advising on better value solutions.

In October 2024, we attended the ground breaking ceremony of Phase 1 of the project, which will deliver 654 new homes.
