calfordseaden was appointed by Cadogan Estates Ltd to act as Building Owner Surveyor and oversee Party Wall related matters on the renovation and refurbishment of a six-storey luxury hotel, Sloane Gardens.

Our role on the project was to negotiate, prepare, and Awards in time to ensure no delay to the works. This required breaking the Awards into an elemental basis due to the available design information.

Our services entailed: liaising with the appointed Surveyors and Engineers, negotiation and preparation of Awards, provide advice to the Project Team with regards to the chosen method of construction, and reviewing of the title and lease documentation to ascertain rights regarding scaffold over sail rights and, whether licences were required.

The Sloane Gardens scheme required a façade retention scheme, which involved the full demolition of the internal structure while maintaining the external elevations.
