calfordseaden are providing Lift Consultancy services to Rushmoor Borough Council in the form of design traffic analysis, fire strategies, lift inspection and much more to Union Yard, a regeneration scheme which will transform Aldershot town centre.
The lift installations are a variety of units including two firefighters MRLs and six normal passenger lifts. The student accommodation block lift will be vandal resistant and all lifts will comply with the current standards and regulations as necessary and appropriate to each unit.
The passenger lifts consist of down collective control systems, clear door openings of 900mm and have been designed to serve all floor levels in each building.
Our role is to assist in providing eight new lift installations and an external lift platform on behalf of the client.
Our works involve collaborating closely with all parties, both the main contractor and the assigned lift company, to provide our specialist knowledge and assistance throughout from issue of specifications to completion of installations and final handover of lifts.
